Pastels

Pastels are soft, luscious sticks of saturated hues that radiate and “POP” with color when you want them to. When I use pastels in still lifes I like to push the color and bounce it around as if an explosion is happening. The subtle tones and saturation of color create a product that is breathtaking to the eye making you want to reach out and touch them. They are freely done by the strokes they possess.
