Oil PAINTINGS

I studied color at the Art Student’s League in New York with George Passantino. Working with him I learned how to use oil paint and how to paint the figure. 

My early oil paintings focused on the dairy farm I grew up on consisting of cows, life on the farm, becoming a memorial to my family's generations that lived and worked on the farm. From there I started painting figurative pieces. 

I studied the art of portraiture with John Howard Sanden at many of his workshops.
